OK I just got a set of Beyerdynamic DT-990-Pro-250s. I came on here to find a good amp for my cans. Once I was here I seen some mods that I just feel in love with and had to have. I seen a detachable cable/mic mod made by Tommyboy. I guess he used to mod headphones for higher. After finding out he no longer does that I sent out to make them myself. I figured that I fix air conditioners and heaters for a living so this wouldn't be too hard. Before I just cut off my headphone's cable an starting cutting holes. I needed to understand what I'm before I just do it. So what better way is there to understand the wiring of something than to make a pictorial/diagram. I ended finding a modder by the name of esteboune who ended up helping me with a few. Boy is it hard to get help here. Anyways with all the said I came up with pictorial/diagram and this game plan.
 
1. Gather info and inspiration.
2. Come up with a pictorial/diagram.
3. Buy connections, wires, etc...
4. Mod, test, and win.
