Noble Audio - Introducing KATANA

The universal fit ' HUM Pristine Reference' iem w 2 BA's is actually $1,699.00 with an acrylic shell. For me it has come down to 1)tuning 2)materials used 3)Customer support. Noble Audio checks all these boxes for me with their products. I wish they were made in the USA too but I can't have it all. I look forward to the impressions of the Katana!

Essentially all the parts are made in the USA or come from USA owned mfg, (housing, socket, drivers) and the parts suppliers, for the most part are USA mfg as well.   The cable internal wire is from Japan, ultimately it is difficult to get the 100% made in America pedigree these days.

It is my understanding, and I can very well be wrong, that the Universal iem's parts are from/machined in the Good ol US of A while actual assembly is outsourced overseas....

I have never asked for a breakdown of where exactly everything is made. I know some of it, but its not for me to say, its Noble's. I know the customs lab is in China, and they have stuff being done here also, I think Malaysia might be one also, John and Brannan would be able to answer if they want to.

Thank you for your response. I truly do appreciate this stellar level of transparency and attention given to current as well as potential customers of Noble Audio. I enjoyed the Savants immensely and ultimately where what whet my interest for your other iem offerings.

Looks to me like you know the answer before you asked.

For a new car you get:

Rolls Royce = 4 year warranty
Kia = 7 years
Porsche = 3 years (though in all fairness this is a worldwide warranty and even applies when you track your car)
Toyota = 5 years

(all the above in GB)
See a pattern here? More expensive cars does not mean more warranty...

Here is Noble's warranty policy:

No I didn't know the answer that's why I asked lol

But thanks for the link anyway I'm happy with 2 years.

My main concern is sibilance, can it produce an amazing airy, fast, detailed, extended and crisp highs and keep it relatively smooth at the same time? I know its a hard feat to achieve. HD800 for example couldn't do it but I think the S version fixed it I'm not sure as I haven't heard it.

Yeah I love the design and colour too. Having two flagships that compliment one another is also a great idea IMHO.
Keep up the good work guys, looking forward to hearing the Katana

Can I say Katana has a very engaging mids due to the 9 driver configuration?
