Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Try Flash, it is a classic!

But no seriously try We Will Rock You followed By We are the Champions. Make sure gapless playback is on with whatever you use to listen though, that is key!

Out of interest what speakers do you have?

My home system is a NAD T754 and Paradigm Titans, Martin Logan Dynamo sub, Energy Reference surrounds, its more for movies etc than music. I have all those songs, not really a fan of them.

Isolation is something I find to be more tip dependent (regardless of IEM). Both will isolate fine
I wrote my impression and comparison before. Basically, Khan is better than Penta in every technical aspect. But the difference is not big. Thinking about the price difference, Penta is really a great value. Both Khan and Penta share similar signature. Khan is more neutral and analytical, while Penta is a bit more musical and slightly laid back. Fit is clearly better on Penta, while Khan wins for isolation. Hope this helps. YMMV.
thanks for sharing!

I haven't tried the U12 but the K10 has some pretty big bass so it sounds like they might not be to your taste if I am honest but then if you are looking for something different to a bright IEM then they might be a good contrast. It is very hard to say to be honest, your best bet is to try and demo in a local shop if you can.
Thanks for your respond. Also, do you think massdrop huge batch production may compromises sound or built quality?

I am just there to meet and greet. Sales are up to the distributor/dealers and I'm not too sure about their plans.

But if you get a chance to hear them and you like them...

Be aware demand is higher than supply capacity

What do you consider huge batch?

While the order comitment is large, Massdrop doesnt demand delivery of all products at one point in time. The order is fulfilled in small batches until the order is complete.

One brick at a time.... there have been 945 massdrop K10 sold, if build quality was a big issue, I dont think we would hit those numbers.... we would be lucky to sell a 100, if build quality was an issue

Not a bad system you have there :p Does seem your IEMS/DAP cost almost as much though which migh explain the difference.

I do love those songs but a lot of it is from my mental association with films, as with all things so much of perceived enjoyment is from memories. Flash is such a stupid film I can't help but enjoy it, I wasn't even born when it came out lol... For the other 2 I watched A Knight's Tale so much when I was younger and it is a good bit of fun, I have a soft spot for Heath Ledger as well.

I very much doubt it as they are made in the same method and location as far as I am aware. I could imagine Noble sacrificing quality for any reason though, doesn't seem like their companys style.

The AK player alone at full retail was more than my home setup. Heck even my CRX back in the day had more into it than my home system.

Haven’t heard much about sound/build quality compromises with the Massdrop version.

One thing with the universal version is that edge wear is pretty common (maybe even inevitable), but that’s the same across Noble UIEMs.

I have invested quite a bit in my home setup (at least in my books, it is peanuts in comparison to what you could spend), I think expenditure wise my headphones and speakers aren't too far from each other these days. Although I can't see myself buying anything else for either in the foreseeable future. I wouldn't be without either though as I love using them, they each have their own application.
