Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

I received the Fokus Pro on Friday. Haven't had much time with it yet, but based on very initial impressions, I am enjoying the sound of these. I won't really describe the sound in much detail at the moment until I get more ear time, but it sounds quite clear with a bit of a bump in the low end although not as much quantity as I remembered when I first heard it CanJam. I don't really have a wired IEM reference at this price point on me, so I am not sure how it compares directly, but I do think they sound better than Galaxy Buds Plus and Airpods Pros.

Physically, they are a very nice looking TWS and actually very comfortable to wear. The case material and finish feels nice, but it is a bit weird once you open it. The back of the top lid of the case rubs against the case and once the lid is open, it does have a decent amount of wiggle compared to a few other TWS cases that I've seen. It's probably not that big of a deal, but something I noticed. The housing of the Fokus Pro is a bit slippery since it's so smooth so it makes it a bit hard to take in and out especially from the case. It is a real minor thing, but something to note.

Regarding bass response compared to the show:

They can be adjusted via the app:

Possibly they had been adjusted by a user during the demo process?

Not sure.

Regardless, if you desire more bump in the bass... experiment with the app

I missed out a lot over the years it seems...

Can anyone fill me in on the newer line ups? All I know so far was the Sultan even though I never got have a chance to audition it anywhere in Malaysia......

I sure hope I'm not missing too much since the days of K10, but the Sultan really seems interesting.

Additional bass is not needed. They sound terrific on the flat setting. Lots of subbass for an iem. One of the best sounding tws I've heard and I've heard them all.

Ah, thank you! It's possible I also could be hearing things a little different after listening to different gear for 7-8 hours at the show.

I definitely agree with this for majority of listeners. Personally, I would prefer just a little bit more of a bump in quantity for the Fokus Pro, but the quantity of bass was just something I remembered from when I first heard it at the show and now at home.

Can a custom OG K10 be upgraded to an encore or k10 classic? Just curious.

I want to hear more Fokus Pro impressions :) I have been through a lot of TWS's, currently have the Senn CX and eh... something to be desired to be honest. Never owned a Noble piece, these look good as well.

It doesn't fit right anymore. I don't know if it's weight change or what.

Apparently you have a CIEM.
You would need to contact Nancy (AKA abacus) for reshell information. Browse the website for contact information.

As for converting a k10 into an encore, that is not a service we provide.

The black friday sale is coming soon, you may find some interesting options.

If your main want in a TWS is sound quality, I think this is one of the best out there that I am aware of for a TWS. To me, the overall signature is a bit L shaped so fairly even emphasis throughout the mids and highs, but has a little bit of an increase in sub bass. It does have an engaging sound. There is a good amount of clarity and detail coming through and overall the mid range sounds quite natural. It has a fairly open soundstage and doesn't sound claustrophobic to me. It doesn't have the refinement in its sound and dynamic range that a wired IEM would have within its price bracket, but I think it's great for a TWS.

Personally, I found them very comfortable due to the ergonomic shape, but like any other TWS, your ear shape may vary. They feel almost custom to me. Also, they are very nice looking earphones.

Overall usability of the Fokus Pro is also good. Connection was stable. 95% of the time when I opened the case, it connected to my iPhone like it should. The faceplate touch controls is nice and responsive. Mine did have a few bugs here and there, but they were minor. It won't be quite at the level of the Airpods Pro in terms of usability/refinement in that aspect, but it is much better than something like the FiiO UTWS3. Do keep in mind that I got first batch so I assume things would get more refined as time goes on.
Also, what I mean by usability is how consistent is the connection, does it consistently connect to my device when I open the case, is latency good, etc. Minor issues that I encountered on occasion mainly involved when I was using just one side (meaning one side in my ear, other side in the case). Sometimes the side I was trying to use wouldn't connect. I'd have to put the Fokus Pro back in the case and reconnect to get one side only to work. Another issue were if I were to answer a call on my iPhone, the call wouldn't go through the Fokus Pro for some reason. Again, these are minor issues and could be fixed with an update. They are definitely not deal breakers unless you really want to use these for phone calls all the time.
