That's right!
You know, to me, it's interesting to be able to see other people's collections. I, myself, have just started purchasing cds as i have been a strong downloader since 2001. (ssssh....I know!!) About 3 months ago, I started purchasing again and ripping into the quality that I love (~320vbr/LAME). I have actually seen before where a person has one room in their house DEDICATED to their music; 4 walls full of shelves with cds/vinyl ... quite an amazing setup.

I recently visted in these forums where people discuss the several types of music that they enjoy. I think that is completely wonderful. I'm a person that has a diverse taste...classical to metal....christian music to eminem

, etc. I'm glad I'm not the only person in the world who is like this

So, I think we have shown off the headphones, amps, etc. Let's show off our collections! Bust out the digitial cameras...let's do it!

I'll post mine in a few days (as my small collection is scattered throughout the house in cupboards, dresser drawers, etc to keep the 3 year and 1 year old out of them

this is a really really old photo, but it kinda shows my madness.

lots of CDs and other various stuff strewn across my bedroom floor. i have lots more CDs than what's shown in this photo. as for keeping them organized, i'm anything but... my CD collection is littered all over the house, although i generally know where each and every one is located. one day i'll have a dedicated music library where everything is organized and filed. walls lined with CDs... *drool*

Part of my CD collection back home in England where I can't get at it. Sigh. There's another couple of hundred CDs on racks just out of picture to the right. Underneath my book collection (bonus points for spotting the book worth $2000!), to the left is Yo****aka Amano's tenth anniversary Sandman poster, sold out for years and years. Aw, I miss my stuff.

edit - looking at it, that's quite an old picture, it's actually all the CDs I had at that time. (You can see Ash at top left and Weezer bottom right, if you look close). The expansion onto racks came later.

If I don't feel lazy later I'll get out my digital camera and take some pictures.... I'm not sure how many cd's I have, I lost count once I passed 300. Most of them are organized in alphabetical order, but I've gotten lazy over the past year and now I just have random piles of cd's all over my room.

I posted this about a week ago on the darkest desires thread....
It includes about 75% of my rarities and some special albums.
If I ever get the time I'll take a picture of my cd setup..(420+ cds and I've only been collecting for 3.5 years.) I'm finally taking a break from buying so i can devote my time to all my under appreciated albums.

p.s. the cds on the first picture would get me 200-300 on ebay if i sold them today. metal heads are a crazy bunch :>

All the CD's and Vinyl in the first pic is kinda unorganized... There's lots of stuff that people have accidently bought again, not knowing that its already in the collection
