First post since joining Head-Fi this week.

Hi my name is SuperDuke and I am an Audioholic.

Has anyone tried modifying power amp outputs for headphone use?

headwize.com has an article on using 2 100ohm resistors - one off the R and one off L output.

Welcome sir.

You will probably get an answer to your question but there are a few here that use a speaker amp to drive their hps. AKG in particular have had members going to speaker amps. Our DIY forum will be your best place to post this. They will usually have part numbers for your answer.
