I am dangerous now: I have just a little technical knowledge, a soldering iron and a multimeter that I will learn to use in between changing the baby's diapers.

Can I put 100 ohm resistors at the speaker outputs of a standard 15 or 50 watt amp (as is discussed on headwize.com) to drive headphones?

I don't have electrostatic phones, using Grado GS 1000s at the moment.

searched for something on this but did not find a thread.

thanks

Rod Elliot has a very elegant solution which is tailored to your amp.

I made this simple adaptor for a friend

Dbel84,

Can you please report those pictures? How much would it cost for you to build me one? How does it sound? Better than getting a dedicated headphones amp?
