Hey guys,

I'm running a 12V SLA battery system consisting of a DAC-AH and tripath amp. I'd like to wire up a power on/off switch just after the bulldog clips which connect to the battery's terminals.

Is it enough to use a SPST switch on the Positive (hot) cable? Or must I use a double switch that also cuts off the Negative cable too?

I'm conerned that getting this wrong may mean a safety hazard and constant drain on the battery.

Cheers.

As with any DC circuit, you should be able to just use one on the positive cable, but hey why not play things safe? You'll feel better using a double switch.
