Hello guys.
After some post and replies from some head-fiers I think I'm going to get a pair of PX100 headphones.
The thing is that I already own a pair of Sony's MDR-D66 (eggo) headphones and I find them to be a pretty nice headphone.
I was wondering if the sound quality of the PX100 would be better than my eggo's. If not, I think I'll stay with the eggo's.

I will use them in a quiet room indeed ... Does this means that the px100 will have better sq overall?

It depends on what type of music you listen to. Although i don't have personal experience with the d66, I'd say that the improvement in SQ would be minimal. Perhaps you should save up some more money and buy a mid-fi headphone.

Yes, I would prefer the PX100.

It has a quite nice bass, while the eggo can sound rather thin at times.

I'd really like to start a chilean headfier thread to make the first chilean CANJAM it may be fun to do this.

Off course I am chilean and a homo sapiens sapiens audiophilus chilensis is a rather difficult species to find

The eggo looks huge un pics I found googling around . For discreet streetwise use I'd definitely go for the Senns and they probably have better bass resolution which is a plus in my book
