I been having some audio issues with my ATH-700 after a year of use. The right cup is slightly louder than the left cup. The difference is minimal but noticeable and it's been driving me nuts. I've tired different audio source with little difference. When I switched the headphones around, left cup to right ear, right cup to left year, I notice it's more balanced. I don't think it's my ears considering I cleaned them more than once when the problem has arisen. I also tried earbuds that sound equal to me so I doubt it's my ears but it's questionable.
I got the headphones from a Ebay dealer as a refurbished unit around a year ago. The seller claims to be "authorized dealer", so I'm not sure if I still have warranty coverage.
I want to know.
1. what is the price for ad700 driver replacement.?
2. will the ad900 driver fit?
3. will it come with he black plastic around the driver?
4. What other Audio Technica drivers will fit and work well with the open air chassis?
