will i be able to use rca interconnects from the 0404 to headphone amp(x-cans v3)? if not, which interconnects should i buy? i was looking at these: http://monstercable.com/productPage.asp?pin=129
was planning on the 7 foot length

The EMU analog breakout cable does not have RCA jacks but rather 1/4" phone jacks, so you will need either 1/4" -> RCA cables or alternatively a pair of 1/4" -> RCA adapters, which will allow you to use different RCA cables.

Also consider custom breakouts for the 0404 (with RCA plugs), like those from Headphile or Fid-Audio.
Monster Cable has the reputation of being overpriced.
