Hey guys. I currently have the O2 and want to get the ODAC. So, I have this rca cable:

http://www.jdslabs.com/item.php?fetchitem=47

And if I get the ODAC can I do this setup:

hd 650 -> o2 -> RCA cable via male 3.5mm plugged into o2 -> odac w/ rca (end of the rca cable plugged into the odac) -> mini usb cable -> comp

If this doesn't work, what will?

Thanks everyone. :)

It will work, if you buy the ODAC with RCA outputs. The rest of your setup is just right ... I have the ODAC+O2+HD650.

The "default" ODAC has a single 3.5mm output and comes in the same case as the O2. If you get that one, get a 3.5mm-3.5mm cable instead (a very short one with right-angle connectors?) It makes it easier to stack them.

It's up to you.

Hi there,

sorry to hijack your thread but i've got a qns regarding the ODAC too.
will the ODAC work simultaneously when plugged in to a speaker and a headphone?

comp > usb > ODAC (RCA) > active speaker
                         +
ODAC(3.5mm) > amp (in) > amp(out) > headphones.

Thanks.
