I dont have a computer right now just an ipad.
Do i need to have the usb plugged into the e9?
And im not ordering the e17.
Or can I just power it from the ac adapter and plug my ipad into it and use my cans?(akg k701)
On a low budget so can't change headphones. Would prefer this amp as it seems the least complicated but just need to know if I can use it without a computer.
To recap the question, the audio source would be my ipad or iphone, headphones are the 701s, Does the e9 require the usb to work?
And not to be rude i understand the 701s are very hard to drive but i made the mistake of ordering them and undermining the reviews.
the e9 seems to be the only thing in my budget range. ($100)
Sorry for the noob question. Im new to high fidelity stuff.
