So for a first post I have a silly problem. I've removed my earpads from a dt880, cleaned them, and now can't get them back on. They attach with a layer of material that slips over a plastic lip, much like a steering wheel cover, but I can't seem to stretch them right. The furthest on I've got a pad was maybe 3/4s, and it felt so tight I was afraid I'd rip it.

Any suggestions on how to go about putting these back on? Thanks.

There's an easy way.  Simply fold back that thin layer all around the pad.  It should expose the surface that sits on the cup.  Then, set it into place, and fold that layer over the lip.  You have to hold them in place as you go, but it's a LOT easier than trying to fight the pads over the lip pulling sideways.

Thanks for the suggestion, I tried twice and almost got it both times. I feel like I need another pair of hands to flip the lip on all four sides at once. I kinda wonder if the earpads shrank just a little from the cleaning. I'll probably get it in a few gos, and your right this seems much easier.
