Hello all,

I am in the market for some headphones.

I listen to:
Prog jazz, rock, metal
Melodic + power metal
R&B
Classical Guitar, piano, and symphony
Eurodance

Looking for in a set of headphones:
1. Comfort - I listen to music 10-15 hours a day
2. Quality - I have very good ears. Sound quality is a must or I will just prioritize comfort
3. Warranty - I plan to keep these headphones and use them for two years, or about 7k to 10k hours. They need to last that long with minimal migration. Support is a must.

Features must include:
a) At least one crossover
b) Portability, and preferably battery power

Budget is 3k

Thanks in advance!

I'm not entirely sure what you mean.

Migration = ?
Crossover = more than one genre?
Portability = closed? foldable?
Battery power = bluetooth?

What's your source and amp?
Given your budget, would you consider buying more than one (e.g., open for home and closed for outdoors)?

Migration  = The headphones must maintain fidelity after long use
Crossover = Individual frequency band assignment to separate drivers
Portability = not a rackmount
Battery power = For the crossover - not something that needs a wall plug.

I am currently considering JH3a or Roxannne.
