I've just got the crazy idea of replacing my DT 770 80-Ohm with the DT 770 250-Ohm, power sourse will be a Indeed 6922EH headphone amp. and a Asus Xonar DX (I might upgrade my Xonar too) ,so I'm guessing the 250-Ohm version have less "noise" then the 80-Ohm version?

Go if you have a hi-power amp and you feel that the bass of 80ohm's is too much.
 
No go if you still love the bass and you don't like sharp treble happy headphones

Lower noise floor with the higher ohms, but the 80 ohms have a noticeably different sound sig than the premiums.

Ordered the DT 770 250-Ohm, when it arrives I'll post a comparision of the 80 verses 250.
