Hi all,

I haven't been on here in quite a while, as I've been enjoying the antics over at Audiokarma.org lately.

The pads on my Yamaha HP2 orthodynamic headphones are beginning to fall apart, and I am wondering where to get replacement pads of a comparable size.

Does anyone know?

Thanks a lot!

I believe there are a couple of similar-sized pads you can get, but no exact replacements.

Others will be able to help you more if you ask on the Orthodynamic Roundup thread.

I made a mod for this set of headphones and the other Yamaha orthodynamics. which makes them over-ear for better comfort, bigger soundstage and better tonality with the right pads (I got the best results with perforated leather). Any Beyerdynamic, AKG K2XX serie or 100mm diameter pads should fit.

You can find the STEP-file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/11pP5H2tUB240c12Gwu26eket8g9esWHE/view?usp=drivesdk

I hope it works with the Google drive link. First post on Headfi, so still figuring it out.
