Hello again everyone,

I've been waiting patiently for 11 weeks for my Bifrost/Jotunheim order but I'm starting to think this combo may never materialize.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to look a other possible dac/amp combos but need a little help.

Trying to push a set of Modhouse T60RP Argon to their full potential and don't want to pick up a whimpy amp.

Suggesting's for a strong balanced amp/dac combo at around $1000-1500 USD would be greatly appreciated.

Could you shine some light on what components are holding back my Jotunheim/Bifrost order?

I know that both Jotunheim 2 and Bifrost 2 are in production now and we're clearing backorders, so it shouldn't be long.

I was in a similar situation back in April. Finally gave up and just went ahead with a Burson Soloist 3X to pair with my SMSL M300. The amp is amazing, the DAC does its job. I eventually swapped it out for a Bifrost2 from my other system, but to be honest there wasn't a huge jump in sound quality. Actually the BF2 is more laid back, but still has a bit more clarity and is definitely warmer than the M300. But for the price ($250), the M300 is really hard to beat.

Which color did you order the units in? My silver jot2 shipped within a day of ordering it. Literally ordered Sunday shipped Monday delivered Tuesday.

Anything with multibit has the backorder, because they ordered them together they will only ship them at the same time. It is a checkmark you click when adding something to cart showing you agree to ship based on the item with the longest back order.
