Hi there I have a hopefully simple question. On Schiits own website they state these (and most other dacs they sell) max out at 24/192. I know 192Hz is the hard limit anything over that and it won’t play. Windows and Roon both properly report the max of 192Hz.
The odd thing is that both windows and Roon report both of these dacs can do 32 bit just fine. If I play 32 bit it works fine…. Is it just truncating the extra bits or can the hardware actually support 32 bits and for whatever reason Schiit only says up to 24?
