But all this pops Billy Squire into my head. Hold one as I jump over to qobuzz for a step down memory lane!
And nevermind! Good example of upsampling un remastering crap sounds like……crap! Inserting memory of high school girlfriend to turn it back into a happy memory. Hahaha - carry on!

That's made in Texas and just blows into Oklahoma. But if you ever want some Calf Fries, let me know. Apparently they are a specialty here. 🤣 🤣
I am afraid to ask lol.🤪

They are really good until someone tells you what they are.

Amazing the turn taste buds can take mid-chew. 🤣

Had my first and last at Cattlemen's Steakhouse at The Brickyard in OKC.

I played Euchre and Pinochle (sp?) as a lad with parents and visiting grandparents/great aunts/uncles… then they taught me contract Bridge… never went back… played tournaments until i met my wife, and gave it up (as well as golf) aged 34…. Never forget my first grand slam, redoubled and made.

Must be our family’s German heritage… lineages like Holtz, Deutz, and Wagner family names growing up in MIchigan.. obviously a Midwest thing.
I grew up playing single and double deck pinochle so euchre was an easy transition when I landed in Indiana. At RCA there were about 6 or 7,000 people and card games going constantly. I also competed in basketball, archery, golf, tennis, softball and bass fishing. It was like a small town with plenty of options during and after work. My wife is pretty easy going and for years I was away playing chess, euchre, and poker as well as sports. I played softball at a fairly high level into my forties.

Well this was an easy one for tube comparos...the stock 63NP compared to a Raytheon CK 5670WA.
No brainer, amazingly stark difference here..
Raytheon beats the pants out of the stock tube..
Like a muffler was removed..
Another decent 5670 type...

Welp, ol' Sixer is down with Covid, bunkered up in my bedroom. Thanking the Good Lord for easily re-located Schiit stacks and Ripper's still-awesome Dinosaur album recommendation.
Fortunately, most of my isolation days are landing on my weekend because the whiskey blending waits for no-one!

Get well soon!

If you love Jazz drummers, you gotta know Dave Weckl. A very accomplished drummer from Chick Corea's Electric Band. If Fusion and Crossover is your kinda thing, I think you will like this and his other Dave Weckl Band offerings.

This evening's Jazz recommendation...
