Speaking of a big V-8 right behind you screaming in your ear, I once had a chance to purchase a DeTomaso Pantera at a very reasonable cost. I almost did it until I drove it and realized I couldn't hear myself think inside that thing. Bought a sedate-by-comparison and much more civilized Quattroporte instead.

I would be nice if they added Pre-OUT and IN loop so folks could insert an EQ or other processor. Maybe in the next iteration.
When they add a tape loop I'll know I've been transported back to the 1970s. (Back then I built graphic equalizers for fun and profit. )

Balanced only is guaranteed to sell 1/10 as much as an input-agnostic product.

How do you feel about all Pentaconn? Those are balanced, two channel, and take less space than an RCA. Yeah, I still don't like them either. Not on full-sized products, anyway.
I'm not suggesting to tell you how to run Schiit and don't claim to understand the audio market demand for all balanced. My personal preference is standard sized XLRs. Adopting Pentaconn would not interest me.

Maybe I'm an outlier use case, but the situation I find myself in is if I want to use my Mjolnir I'm either I'm using SE outputs from the Freya+ or I'm moving cables from my Vidars. I have left the Mjolnir in line between the Freya and Vidars, but the thing gets hot so I prefer to leave it off when not in use. First world problems I know...

For what it's worth I like your equipment:

I know a guy with a pantera rotting away in his basement. Needs a full restoration. Told him if he ever wants to part ways with it give me a call.

No I meant the CanJam presentation he's doing on Sunday.
I'm not sure if anyone is doing video there...I'll see if we can make that happen.

I have one of those: the V8 screaming in my ear behind me :)

I wonder if the chassis could get taller to accommodate? I'm assuming the footprint cannot change.
I found something at B & H that might help. It's called the Henry Engineering Patch Box II Analog Stereo Output Multiplier and Signal Converter. ( That's a mouth full. )

If it drowns out the wife screaming 'they're breaking' with 300 yards between me and the next car, I'll take one!
