Thanks, Tom. We're happy that you recovered so you can be here with us, in this happy place. Making great cables and sharing your life knowledge. We all seem to do that pretty well here, ya know? Approaching 10,000 pages of shared and valuable knowledge. Wow, just wow. The best thread on Head-Fi.
I am no longer involved in cable making but I did pass that down to employees who are still buried with work. 🤪 Anymore I am apt to do woodworking and less amplifier design. It is fun to have a thread with so many diverse topics and intelligent people. I have learned a great deal here and continue to do so. I have also made friends for life.

This just in: how to get at least $7500 worth of audio component value absolutely free! And it's so easy I can't believe everybody isn't already doing it.

Step 1: Obtain $25,000 component.
Step 2: Purchase the linked $7500 power conditioner.
Step 3: Revel as your $25,000 component nearly instantly (after break-in, of course) sounds like a $40,000 component!
Step 4: Math. $25,000 + $7,500 = $32,500. $40,000 - $32,500 = $7500. Your gain, no pain.

IIRC, @Ableza turned us onto that, oh, back when there were only like 3K pages :-D
I was given some about five years along with other scotch, but I never talked about it much. The Balvenie was epic though.🤪

So another day of warming. Just played Hearts of Space CD (Absolute Sounds).

In place of jibbering, let me just say that Yggy will leave this house only after my running out of ammunition and subsequent death.

Sound stage is best digital I’ve ever heard. Micro resolutions for Timbre richness best ever digital, the equal of LP IMO. Dynamics better than LP. Treble transients are so realistic. Bass is more powerful, without being overblown or blowsy, just more MEAT.

Words are failing me. Time to make dinner and then return when things are really quite this evening.

@Jason Stoddard (and Mike M.) well done, sirs. Well done indeed

Yeah, I remember the story. Nice work turning all that around into your new home.

BTW, these are some of the best cigars I've ever experienced. The Brazilian tobacco rocks.

You guys are.killing.me. I just get the Bendix, the Raytheon with the umbrella getter, the GE 5 Star, and the WE 396A and then it turns out I need an adapter and English 12AU7s. Followed up by Davidoff cigars - and I looove good cigars. Ah well, grab credit card and back to the internet.

It's worse than that. Once you've emptied the piggy treasury bank for 12AU7s... we'll mention 6SN7s... hundreds of variations were made. And even worse... you'll want to collect them ALL! 🤣
