Hi, I recently purchased the MMCX version of this great-seeming cable:

This is my first venture into detachable cables, and I'm not sure what to pair them with. Happy to start very cheap, so I can get my bearings, but I'd spend up to probably $200 for the right IEM.

I almost exclusively wear IEMs while biking/walking in a noisy city, with Comply tips for the isolation. Don't like over-ear style, but I do like wings (or a barrel-style IEM, so I can add my own: https://aliexpress.com/item/32820759455.html).

Most IEMs of this nature don't seem to list IPX ratings or water-resistance, but this matters to me, as I sometimes bike in the rain. At the very least, an IEM with a sealed body would be ideal.

Sound-wise, I think I'm fairly used to bass-heavy headphones... My ears are extremely sensitive to the high-end, so IEMs tuned towards treble probably aren't necessary for me. I do have some more balanced HiFiMan headphones for home use, and I definitely notice the perceived "lack of bass"—so I guess that means I like a lot of bass!

Been using Degauss Labs' Vice dynamic-driver bluetooth earbuds for years now, which have been fairly maligned on here so they probably aren't great. I'm guessing they have a pretty V-shaped response curve. But with Comply tips, they've done the job for me.

Thanks in advance!
