I'll start by saying that I love my 990 Pro's sound wise, but the comfort does pinch a bit, and the high highs are a tad harsh....bass can be a little harsh at times too....overly rumbly....
BUT
I love the detail, omg i adore the instrument seperation and wider soundstage!
So I've had my eye on the 600 ohm Beyer DT 880 for 3 reasons A) DT 880 would appear to be the cream of the Beyer lineup B) 600 ohm is what one wants C) price is good right now.
I had a big worry before I bought the DT 990 Pro about lack of bass, but having ownedd the 990 Pro I can now say based on it that I could take a bit more or a bit less but nothing significant in either direction!
Was wondering if the DT880 600 ohm takes care of my few issues with the DT 990 Pro and are significantly better - or if they are significantly different from the 990 Pro. I would appreciate any pointers even though I said sell me!
TBH I'm hoping they're not ever so different, but one significantly better, both being Beyer DT line. Advice or sales pitch much appreciated lol, where's the Beyer team at ?!
