You're confused. The drivers seem to be exactly that of the HD 569.

If HD 598 Cs has the same drivers as HD 569
AND
if Sennheiser confirmed, as they so did, that HD 598 Cs is a modified version of HD 598 SE
THEN
should we be expecting HD 598 Cs' sound signature and value-for-money to be close to 598 SE or just 596?

HD 598 SE goes for $120 on a given day on Amazon.com.
So, is HD 598 Cs is worth $95 on Amazon.in sale, should it resemble 596 closer than 598 in drivers and sound signature?

I suggest you read my question again - it is you who seem to be confused - I DID state that 598Cs and HD 569 had same drivers, a fact you are restating in your reply but at the same time claiming that I am confused.

If you read the query again you will understand that the question was about the contradiction in terms in the two statements Sennheiser presented us with:
1). HD 598Cs has the same drivers as HD 569 and
 2) HD 598Cs is a modified version of HD 598 SE.

So, the question was which headphone the new HD 598Cs comes close to in its signature - HD 569 (because of the same drivers) or HD 598 SE (because it is a modified version of it).

Well?

HD 569 is essentially a HD 598 CS.

HD 598 SE has nothing related with HD 598 CS apart from the name.

The HD 569 shares everything with the HD 598 CS apart from the name and paint.

Could any $20 worth 4-core pure silver upgrade cable from AliExpress possibly enrich HD 598's character? If yes, I could risk $40 on a 8-core thing.

Cables don't change the sound much. Will be a waste.

I got my HD 598 SE today. I am powering them through the X1. I did not like the sound. The sound gets too warm and bassy. The X1 gives power to the low end that makes it sound boomy. I think the HD 598s were made for normal portable devices without amps. They sound neutral out of my phone. The sound is not as boomy . It sounds clear and spacious.

So perhaps the 598 doesn't have a good synergy with X1?

Portable devices also have amps.  And the 598s sound great with all sorts of other amps.  Maybe there is some sort of impedance mismatch in the low frequencies happening with the X1 and 598s that make it sound boomy, or maybe you just prefer a more neutral sound and are sensitive to "boominess."  Not familiar with the X1, but if it has a gain switch, try changing it, and turn off any EQ controls.

Guys if i use amp +dac with my phone or portable music player will the sound quality be improved and how much time of burn in is required?

The most honest answer you'll get:  possibly.  Depends on the quality of the dac in the portable vs the amp/dac you replace it with.  Also depends on your subjective impressions.  Only way to find out is to try it.  I'm not a big believer in burn in.  If it burn in does change the sound it's only subtle.  More impact is you personally getting used to the new sound.
