Yo my IE 200 arrive on Monday and just now, the right driver of my IE 400 Pro died.

Sadly seems to be a common occurrence with IE line.
I don't have any statistic, but have seen many reports of this from IE300 and IE900 users as well, so i would only buy from an authorized dealer, and the one i could easily reach in case of a warranty claim.

I bought them from Amazon (shipped and sold by Amazon not a third party seller) so I should be covered. Sennheiser officially lists Amazon as one of their authorized retailers.

Not that anyone will admit this - but I find it funny that reviews and Seinheisers own webpage sort of have phased out there ie300, when doing comparisons.

Once the cable is ready as a balanced, I might just end up getting the 200, 600, and 900, but that's after next month's paycheck. as I have a sony IEM to get to first.

Does anyone here also have the IE 100 Pro? I get my 200 tomorrow and I’ll be comparing them to my beloved IE 100 Pros. Sadly, like I said, my 400 Pros just died so I need to get them repaired before I can compare against those as well.

Just got my IE 200. First impressions, they sound a lot like my IE 100 Pro except they have a little more bass extension. Not a bad thing. I love my 100 Pros. I like the cable too.
