A CONFUSED and UNIMPORTANT response .... Senn has proven to be quite inconsistent in production (sample to sample) quality in ALL of their product series. The HD600s are a prime example.. The concept is that IE 300 transducers from production run #1 will sound consistent with production run #1,000, and similarly in different markets.
Maybe the single-ended cable is the bottleneck?I tried but couldn't get a good fit with silicon tips. Using foam tips, the sound is not bad but I have heard better...
I think the housing is too small for my ears. I even tried with the largest silicon tips but no luck. Hope other people will have better luck.
They look pretty!!
Looking forward to your and others impressions before I pull the trigger to add to my Sennheiser IE brigade.

Where are you guys trying them?
Launching first in Asia. Sennheiser also selects and sends out review samples sometimes as well, though it’s still early days and people are probably still firming up first impressions with a few songs and sine sweeps into something more comprehensive with a wide selection of tracks.Where are you guys trying them?
@alphaman Is there something I can help you with?
Who have finished demoing?
Too many interesting combinations to explore to ever really "finish", but the DFR and Tidal (HiFi x app) via Galaxy Note 10 are workin' it right now.

Why would it be, when is it ever with iems?Maybe the single-ended cable is the bottleneck?
When something's good, it's obvious with the stock cable and stock tips playing from SE output.
Then why are they selling ,the balanced cable at a later date? Why would it be, when is it ever with iems?

To make more money from the people who think it will improve anything.

I do recall my IE-8's taking quite a while to break in .... or wuz dat me brain learnin' ta 'ccept 'em???????????????I reckon the review samples been through proper burn-in time?
It comes with a standard cable; if someone has a device designed around a balanced port that sounds better than the SE port, they’re welcome to use it and Sennheiser will provide that option for sale. But nobody’s forcing itThen why are they selling ,the balanced cable at a later date?
