I thought it will be helpful to have a thread that will focus on Naming 2 Headphones (IEMs or Headphones) that have Similar Sound Signature and Characteristics, but may differ in Sound Quality..
Rules:
1. Name only 2 Headphones (it could be: 2 Headphones or 2 IEMs or an IEM & a Headphone) that have Similar Sound Signature**
2. Does not matter if the 2 headphones differ in Sound Quality
3. If there are two headphones with almost similar signature but differs in just one area, a formula or an equation can be used.
Example 1: Headphone A = Headphone B + Sub-bass
Example 2: Headphone A = Headphone B - Harsh Highs
4. Formula could also be used for sonic characteristics and mods. For example:
Example 1: Headphone A = Headphone B + Wide Sound-stage
Example 2: Headphone A = Headphone B + Better Isolation
Example 3: Headphone A = Headphone B + Mod 'X'
5. I see there is a lot of potential for this thread to start heated conversations when comparing headphones. Let's try not to make this thread into a battlefield.
We can improvise on the rules as we move forward...
