I just picked up 3Dconnexion's SpaceNavigator for use with Google Earth. It really takes the application to another level. It's about 2 pounds and only takes seconds to learn as the movements are very natural. If you use Google Earth (or any 3D programs - check the site for support) much, seriously consider it. You can find it around for $50. I've used Google Earth more tonight than the combined time since its release. You can get an idea with a video of the controller here.
