Hi All.

I have a HiBy R6 Dap.
I'd like to try life using an external amp as some iems I’m interested in trying won’t like the high output impedance. I did post this in the dedicated equipment thread but probably should’ve done it here. I speak from some very basic experience levels so please bear with me.
The HiBy manual is poor. To say the least. I have successfully tested the spdif out into my little aspen amp/DAC using the supplied cable and an RCA adaptor and it works but it’s too cumbersome a thing to live with in everyday portable life.
what I’m after is a short interconnect that does away with the adapter.
So one end like the supplied 4 pole cable and the other terminated directly as if the adaptor was in place. Does that make sense? I can set the HiBy multifunction output to be spdif and the Fiio aspen input to be Coax and it all works nicely. But that cable is not suitable for daily portable life as mentioned.
I don’t want to go down the usb route as it’ll remove the ability to charge and listen. I’ve tried to include some images. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Am I making sense even? :)
