My creative speakers are acting up. Sometimes the volume gets spiked to alot higher for about half-1 second and then resumes to normal volume. The problem is that this half-1second volume boost thing is happening about 3 times per minute and is bothering the crap out of me...
 
Do you guys have any advice how i can fix this?

My volume knob was a little funny on my T6100's. If it was at a certain position, it would all of a sudden change volume levels and then go back. As long as I left the volume knob alone and changed the volume in windows, I was fine. Does this happen no matter what position the volume knob is at?
