I want to use my Cloud 2's (both audio and mic) with my soundcard (Sound Blaster Audigy Fx), so I bought a splitter in hopes that it would work. It didn't. There's nothing wrong with the splitter or the soundcard, because I tried using the splitter with a pair of apple earbuds and both the audio and mic worked.

Also, when I plugged the Cloud 2's directly into the mic port, the mic worked; same thing with the audio port. However, for some reason when I use the splitter, only the audio works and not the mic.

Has anyone managed to use a splitter with the Cloud 2's? Any potential fix? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, my sound settings tell me that both the speakers and microphone are identified. However, it picks up no audio from the mic

Are you trying to split a TRRS (female) into two channels (male/male) using a TRS splitter?
Or are you trying to combine two TRS channels (female/female) into one TRS plug (male)?

It's difficult to know exactly what is happening from this description.
