Sitting here listening to some good old fashioned rock n roll at 1:30 in the morning and enjoying the hell out of the SR-80's. Been listening only to the K-701's and UE-11's for the last year or so, and just now went back to listen to the Grados and OMG!!. Using them with the SR-71a amp and apple lossless reminds me of the old days indeed.

Just thought I'd throw this out there for those of you who might want to shake those old bones

Yep, I've also started enjoying my SR60 with HD414 pads again. Still excellent for rock.

I can't go back as my 325is are just a few feet away and I always feel like switching back to 'em. But for when I want to take my cans somewhere, the SR80s are much easier to transport without worrying about wrecking 'em. And I agree, they even surprise me from time to time as well.
