Well I'm still shopping for a DAC and I got a new T.V., this TV has a USB out. I have no Idea why but I assumed it may be sound. The T.V. is a Vizio E series, so I was wondering if this going to the streamer going to my amp would work or if any person has experience with this? The main reason I ask is I'm using the dac for two reasons, One is my main rig DAC, the other is my PS3 DAC.

It's not for sound; its used by the service man for maintenance purposes.

Interesting, I was reading thorough the manual and it did not mention the USB port.
