I was very sceptical of this device, but decided to give it a try... and it sound amazing! all items I have MEST. monarchs, M9 sounds just fantastic. I didn't expect such sound quality, really. speed and control are outstanding. tonality is great either, so yes, I agree it's endgame for relatively portable dac.

sound is good but build quality is very cheap. 2.5 jack stopped working properly. pity... switched all cable to single 3.5 for now, will see how much longer it will work. I did really hope they improved quality after BlueDAC, hope died very quickly. unfortunately. looks like the same failure.

2.5mm sockets are kind of weak, 4.4mm would have been better.

Well, 4.4 mm sockets appeared on the new Amerpsand amp, good decision by Centrance. Now I wish my M8 V2 also have that 4.4mm socket....

Yes 4.4mm sockets along with the power of the Ampersand would have made the Hifi-M8 V2 the ultimate portable device. At max volume it has just enough power to push my Diana V2’s and R70x’s. A little bit more headroom would be great.

Centrance M8V2 is missing a LDAC BT with some buttons like FF, RW Play and stop.. and a 4.4mm line input to choose between simple AMP or external DAC.
In a way a Xduoo XD-05 balanced is a bit more complete.. with a play pause button and ldac .. but still falling short in available power with 2x1W and no balanced 4.4mm input (only a 3.5mm line in).

This is where having more power on tap would really help the Bluetooth capabilities of the M8 V2. When I listen to Bluetooth, volume doesn’t get nearly as loud as it when using the cable. So I rarely using the Bluetooth feature because it lacks drive with certain headphones.

yes, i received my Centrance M8V2 back from warranty repair on wednsday, today 2.5 stopped working again. i know that these connectors are weak, but i also have Fiio M11 pro for 1 and a half year and all jacks are working properly. No complain. So i assume that Centrace uses part of very low quality.

Is there anyone listening through the 6.3 mm port if so how’s the power compared to the XLR port?
