Is the Score One, an amp or an amp/dac combination (hard to have a special feature if it is only an amp). Secondly will that special feature be compatible with other headphones from other brands ?

For this price one hardly gets a flagship headphone alone, let alone headphone + amp. I guess that some competitors are really worried now.
