Hmm so tempting ☺️
Ughhhh…My wallet took a beating today with the purchase of the Westone W40’s and now the Etymotic ES4SR’s. I’m a sucker for reference tuning and look forward to listening to strings, vocals, piano, and acoustic stuff with the Ety’s. Hopefully the W40’s will be musical enough with a solid bass tuning for the Mrs. as she enjoys her Pop and R&B.

i used to have the w4s, and im confident the w40s will be to her liking :D pretty comfy too

The ER4SR is currently listed for $119.99 on Adorama. Best isolation of any IEMs with slightly less bass than the ER4XR (and $10 cheaper).

If anyone got the W80's and regrets their decision, I'd take it off your hands. I accidentally convinced my mom to get one but the sale has ended. :frowning2: There are a few open box returns at the same price + $10 if anyone is still looking to get a W80.

EDIT - Oh and as suspected, there's a new "W80 Lite" on sale for $1299. Still comes with the ALO cable and BT cable. Fewer tips. Not sure what else changed to validate the price drop.

The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC Esprit SB Turntable (with Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet phono cartridge)- Walnut Demo - from Audio Advisor for $500 shipped:

Add a 2M Blue stylus--now or later--and you have a budget priced gem with a small physical footprint relative to most other TT's.

For those who beg to have a hardware EQ for their XLR feed...Schiit has several b-stock 6-band Lokius units in stock, which still carry a full non-transferable warranty, but all sales final:

Wow. I have the 4-band Loki... Did not even know the 6-band Lokius existed... Definitely want to add one to my balanced stack...
