I did doubt this since the time the price increased from 260 odd dollars to about $320...
Now the East versions of the IE80s have been Discontinued...
I really wanted to buy them but not with price increase and the East versions being Discontinued...
What  do you guys think...? Whats next..? Probably a new and improved version...?

I wouldn't say they're discontinued just yet as it's only the East version (made for China, South Korea, and other Asian markets as well as Russia), which Sennheiser USA probably just allowed Amazon to sell here to get rid of excess stock.

That said, if I recall correctly, the IE8 came out in late 2008 and the IE80 in late 2011, so I do think we're overdue for a successor. Since Senn will have a huge price range to fill between the $100 Momentum In-Ear and the $800 IE800, I'm hoping for a series of IE releases at multiple price points.
