Here is my minidump file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/0u61xin2bip2tzh/041315-23671-01.dmp?dl=0

From a BSOD saying "Driver IQRL not less or equal" (wdf01000.sys)" (after audio froze and I physically turned off the E10K)

Okay, thanks. I can't hear a huge difference using the Fiio though, maybe subtle but it's hard to tell. I only have ATH-AD700's, could that be it? I'm getting a pair of ATH-AD900x's tomorrow.

Can someone try this DAC with a iPhone and lighting/camera connector.  I want to use this DAC for my car if it works.  I don't want to waist my time buying the  lighting/camera connector if won't work.

I believe there is a chance it will work cause this DAC chip is in some other devices that work with iPhone.

iPhone won't likely going to have enough power to power the E10K up.

It allows software to connect directly to the sound card, which can decrease latency. Really helps for some software in which playback is distorted if I use DirectSound.

That said I recently uninstalled the ASIO driver because I am trying to figure out what's causing Blue Screen of Death on my computer. I've had no Blue Screens yesterday so I guess the ASIO driver may be the culprit.

And has anyone figured out a way to play DTS audio? Unfortunately I can't watch my Blu Rays without using my laptop's speakers now (headphone jack is broken)

99% certain the ASIO driver was causing your problems.  WASAPI output provides the same benefits as ASIO without the instability.

DTS will need to be resampled before reaching your E10K.  Your audio decoder (LAV Audio Decoder, for example) should allow you to turn bitstreaming off for DD/DTS.

You mean the DTS extension? I just installed a plugin to foobar and it plays them fine, so there should be something you can install on your media player software too.

Try unticking DTS from the E10K's Properties->Supported Formats tab. Your player should prompt you to convert DTS to PCM or do so automatically then.
