The headphone that's built like a Denon HP-500 and sounds like a Beyer DT880?

I'm still deeply unhappy with my Denon HP-500. Six months later, it still sounds like the audio equivalent of a cold draught. Worse, all my music sounds as if it had been recorded in a totally dry room with all microphones stuffed deep into the individual instruments. It's been gathering dust for months and I definitely want something warmer and with more room.

My favourite, sound-wise, is still the DT880 Pro with the ATH-M50 a close second. Is there anything in the shape of the Denon (small, foldable, on-ear, one-sided cable entry) and the sound of the other two? Within reason, of course. I'm aware that I can't expect real LD sound from SD cans.
