In the Tokyo International Audio Show 2017 this past weekend, aside from the MHA50 portable DAC/amp,
McIntosh also showed off their revised prototype MA252 :-
It didn't appear functional (didn't seem to be powered on nor did I try) but looks like it's been revised from the earlier-in-the- year 3 tube to now 4 tube. It seems to be single ended only too in both input was well as output. Sadly no details/specs at the show.
