would be overkill for me...as it is with my IEM's I barely need to turn my volume pot up on the hugo 2
If you only have the Hugo 2 as a source then yeah I think it would be… unless you are looking to make the sound less clinical. With Daps the C9 is very good at maximising the players potential.would be overkill for me...as it is with my IEM's I barely need to turn my volume pot up on the hugo 2
Yeah I agree, actually I even prefer the trio on Hugo alone, but for more chilled out listening as said c9 brings more flavourssurely do not need any additional amping when using an IEM with hugo 2
Yeah depends what IEMs. Generally hiss wise it’s the same as Hugo. Odins for example hiss a lot on the Hugo, but didn’t try them on c9. Tia trio is a lot less sensitive and I have up to 50% use on volume wheel on the c9 (without hiss). You can also turn the volume down on hugo2 as it always acts like a preamp anywaywould be overkill for me...as it is with my IEM's I barely need to turn my volume pot up on the hugo 2
I don’t feel the U12t and Mojo2 are well matched, at least with the default equalization settings. I prefer the tonality of the first generation Mojo which Rob Watts describes as “rose tinted.” To achieve a similar sound in the Mojo2, Rob previously recommended boosting 125Hz by a couple of dB's to give a warmer balance and I find that to be more pleasing with the U12t. While I have been consistently impressed by Chord DACs, the Mojo2 has been the exception.Maybe I'm still in the honeymoon phase with the U12t's but paired with the Mojo2 and it's lossless DSP, I"m getting IEM mini Susvara'ish vibes in-terms of detail and overall tonality / sound signature. Foam tips gives a warm, lush tonal presentation especially with Acoustic, Jazz, Blues and Classical. It's hard to impress me as the Susvara is my daily driver and clearly is steps above in every way but I'm very pleased! This is a perfect portable/travel setup. Also, doesn't hurt that my A7R3 approves of them (90mm Macro)
I agree, however with the mX module and these DSP settings - it's simply magic.I don’t feel the U12t and Mojo2 are well matched, at least with the default equalization settings. Your equalization settings make sense based on the frequency response of U12t and mX and it aligns almost precisely with some of the opinions others have expressed about the Mojo2’s tonality.I agree, however with the mX module and these DSP settings - it's simply magic.
I'll have to try this! thanks for sharingI agree, however with the mX module and these DSP settings - it's simply magic.
Shouldn't be any but the demo may/may not have some cosmetic imperfectionsIs there any difference between Tia Fourte Noir limited demo version and Tia Fourte Noir limited version? I bought a Noir limited demo version. Really want to know how it is compared to non-demo version.
Thanks for the information. So there should be no difference regard of sound?Shouldn't be any but the demo may/may not have some cosmetic imperfections
