I am so lusting for these. I can't believe everybody is complaining about non detachable cable, and not marveling at the fact that all balanced cables are included in the box !

Was thinking the same, you get 2.5 and 4.4 mm balanced cables in the box!
A fully detachable cable was surely quite difficult to achieve with this miniature form factor..

That is something I would love to know as well. Been trying for a while to get my paws on one ie800S, hope to do soon!

Glad they fixed the y-split length. Expecting similar sound with perhaps some slight differences. This is a definite buy for me.
