They sent me into outer space ...

... and all they sent with me was this lousy Bose headset:

actually, Bose apparently makes some top shelf gear for plane and helicopter pilots... so it doesn't surprise me to see it in space.

Pilots have a different rubric for judging headphones... it's basically noise isolation and ability to understood each other. Then comfort since you'll be wearing them for long stretches.

I haven't used Bose myself, I have the David Clarks from years ago and never had a need to upgrade because they're great. If I do upgrade I'll definitely audition a pair of Bose though, everyone who has the noise canceling ones loves them.

oh hehe. i kinda thought that too at first. i was like what? what are the chances of an astronaut on head-fi? and also, i notice that he doesnt even have his suit on. not that u have to have it on inside the ship actually idk lol.
