Looks like a little less bassy L3. New DD tho, hm... Will it sound very spacious like L3, or walled in like L4? That's what I want to know. :) (Edit - it does sound nicely spacious, but the treble is less than nice)

Does the bass just sink under 20Hz..?

I'd be interested to see a comparison between the older Beryllium coated + BA Shozy Form 1.1 and this Thieaudio Legacy 2.
Definitely this - comparing them to incredibly priced competition.

Anecdotally I'm seeing a lot going on eBay instantly, like it was easy to decide they weren't people's jam as soon as they got them. I'm pairing that with reviewers feeling the ba is being stretched too far.

I'm building an image of them being not as competent as existent offerings like the one you mentioned (1.1, Aria, Blons, etc.). Well tuned, but without the hardware to carry that well thought out profile?

Obviously very presumptive at this point. If I needed to spend that amount safely I wouldn't spend it on these yet, personally.

Edit: Didn't like having to rely on assumptions, bought a pair very cheaply on eBay. A safe price to pass them on if they're not a good match. Happy to share impressions after they arrive, although I'll be busy comparing some potential EDCs around the same time.

I'm a sucker for their FR graph, I'll have to see how it implements that flavor. I like high sub bass and high mids/especially upper mids, and it seems to take the heat off before lower treble...

My thoughts of them, spot on. I think L3 is the better, non-problematic buy, between the 2. They do sound very much like Oracle, though, if you want to hear what that's like for only $99 lol.

finally arrived, the sound was not impressed, there are questions about the quality of the bass and high frequencies.

Bass: it is not deep and not rolling, there is not enough punch and detail. I believed in the description of the product but in fact the bass could be better for the money. High frequencies decay quickly, they are subtle.

I will return these headphones along the way, because they are very expensive for their price, their real cost is divided by two :frowning2:

and the case is also unstuck, and the packaging gives the impression that it has been in the water, although it came in a film
