Hi, all.

I am looking to squeeze some value out of my main rig front end:
Audio Note 3.1x Balanced Da with Siemens cca & Bendix 5852 rectifier, McIntosh (no relation to Apple!) with Mullard CV4024 C2200 pre-amp.

My plan is to run about 30 feet of low bap xlr cable to my office and/or living room, then plug in an amp there. The music will be streamed to the AN DAC via a modded Squeezebox.

The phones I went with are Hifiman HE500's, in large part because I wanted planars.

So, my question is: what tube amps with balanced input should I be looking at that can drive the 500's? Of course, the more types in can drive the better....

My fallback is to go SS, and I am leaning to go with the Violectric HPA V200, but I'm a tube guy, in case f you have not guessed from the above gear (amps are Rogue M180 mono's with Gold Lion kT88'S).

Really would like to keep this under $2k. I have a stash of 6922 and 6sn7 type tubes, so would be partial to anything that uses those. In particular the former,

KP
