The pre-order is up, actually not bad price considering mk2 was released at 1800$, would probably grab it in a heartbeat if that gen2 bone conduction driver is working in it’s full range like Red Halo
Honestly, I don't think there is any driver on the market based on piezoelectric technology that can reproduce bass, they are very thin sheets that vibrate between them and always deliver high frequencies...
I went to SG CanJam '23 and tried the Mest Mk3. My impressions are that Mk3 feels like a combination of the good aspects of the Mk1 and Mk2. Perhaps a more refined version of the Mest. Some reviewers like HBB, said that mk3 is very similar to the mest indigo, which i had not tried, and other impressions were that Mk1 was superior to the mk2 and mk3. I only had 15mins to try the Mk3 in CanJam, so i will have to wait to test the mk3 in the coming near future!
seems too expensive for something that is not a clear cut upgrade from mk 1 or 2 and mk 1 and mk 2 both can be had under 800 these days used, so what's the point of 1900+?
