which would be the better upgrade regarding sound quality alone? m100 or yamaha pro 500? i need a portable solution with some bass and really like the ue6000 for that, but sometimes i wish better layering and soundstage and a tad more oomph.

Same question here! I'm leaning toward the m-100, and I'm having the Sennheiser IE80 for IEM which was great and I want to find a similar sound sig to the ie80!

i own the ie80 also, but cannot stand inears any more.

after trying the yammis and the m100, i have to say, that both are not my cup of tea. any other suggestions?
