This USB Dac (DIY) is made by a friend of mine; it's called microDAC v1.1. This Dac use Burr Brown 2706 processor without oversampling and it's a minimalist Dac. The sound it's warm, without  harshness ,is almost analogue sounding.

It looks like a good single-sided pcb implementation.
 
However, I very much doubt that it's "without oversampling". The PCM2706 has an oversampling digital filter and I cannot find anything in the datasheet to disable it.

You're right about Burr Brown 2706 oversampling issue, I saw the datasheet. Anyway, the sound is soft without sharp, edgy sound.
