Denon AH-D2000 is a much better headphone, but it is also more expensive and not quite as rugged. The LP2 was lifeless to my ears even amped. I liked the V80 and M80 crossfades better.

Notice the dip in the mid range? That is what I hear when I listen to the LDP and why I do not recommend it.

Notice how flat these are in the mid range? They remain pretty flat back into the bass range too which is a huge plus.
